LOOX T830 Problem IExplorer

Postby ppoupard on Thu Mar 19, 2009 18:05

Hello,
I have a big problem with Internet Explorer on my LOOX T830

When I connect in GPRS (3G):
- connection is OK,
- Internet Explorer access to the web site,
- but download nothing and the page is blank !
When I look at the properties of the page:
- protocol HTTP
- type HTML document
- 0 octets

If I use an other web browser as Skyfire, all is correct !
Have you any idea where is the problem ?
Thank for your answer

Hi,
does the IE work if you use other connection type (i.e. WLAN)?
I'm not using GPRS/UMTS for internet access, just WLAN and did not experience any problem with IE.
Did you try a soft-reset?
Do you use native WM5 gear or E2C for connections? I run all connections via E2C V4.0 ans YES, its works fine :!:

Hi,
I tried the same as what youe done with the same result ;). Via WLAN all works fine, via GPRS/UMTS IE does not load any page.
But other programs (i.e. Google Maps or Opera browser) still working in both connections modes!
In german part of forum I've discussed with another user who was the problem vice versa, UMTS is running with IE but no WLAN connection.
I didnt find a solution right now (or use Opera, but it needs a lot of memory :( )
